But not on a bag, never on a bag

So, being the eternal optimist that I am, I’m going to start with what I liked about the collection.  Though I’m not a huge fan of color blocking in Fendi bags  (and certainly not into circus freakish stripes, but more on that later), the gorgeous rich brown and olive green bowler bag (above) really spoke to me. The ever popular Fendi Tote also got a face lift; it’s more streamlined and slightly smaller with trendy long shoulder straps that may be also be tucked in to use as a clutch.  However, not a fan of the giant logo pretending to be a useful buckle (but not judging if logos are your thing).  Jump for more!    But not on a bag, never on Fendi Satchel!  Unless, of course, you work in that circus tent.It would be unfair to say that the entire Fendi Shoulder line was horrible, I mean variety is the spice of life and how boring would Karl be if he offered nothing but tasteful and pretty bags? Besides, a good designer knows that fashion is not about playing it safe; it’s about pushing the limits and being creative.

The shape is not new for the brand but its elongated silhouette feels fresh and modern and I’m glad designers are realizing the importance of shoulder straps that actually go over your shoulders.  And in case you think it feels too autumn-y, there are flashes of white via the clochette and zipper pull to remind you this is indeed spring.  The Truly Ugly:  Is it me or do the truncated FF straps (below) look really cheap?  It also looks really fake.  This will make it a lot easier for counterfeiters.  Again, the clutch shape itself is fine but the awful stripes and strange “Little Twin Star” pastel colored buckle ruins it.The Bad:  Funny how a mere swap of colors can completely change the flavor of Fendi bags .  Bold red and white stripes work for a few things in life: flags, circus tents and 4th of July decor.  Period.

Fendi offers us a horse of the many color, literally

Perhaps some within of the dark dye from my tresses appointment yesterday has seeped into my brain, but I uncover the Fendi Satchel almost…charming. It has chutzpah, and I respect that, even if I do not necessarily need to invest bucks on it or hold it near to town.
Some Fendi Satchel have a tendency for getting so self-serious about their origins in equestrianism and saddlery, also it appears as although Fendi is deliberately poking enjoyment at that type of slightly stodgy traditionalism and humorlessness. as well as a giant leather-based horse mind over a logo bag, from the organization which largely has no this type of origins? that is hilarious, if only to grownup men and girls who invest much extra time pondering about bags than is healthy.

I’m not specific the number of different factors any of you are ready to award to some brand name for owning a witty design and design sensibility, but I think Fendi deserves on the minimum a few here. not merely should be the bag irreverent, however it is relatively nicely executed – the leather-based appears for getting the generally high-quality materials that graces most within of the brand’s bags, and i have found zucca for getting much extra durable than you could guess. for that dimension within of the bag, I think the fact that worth is quite reasonable – it just is dependent upon how ready you are to positioned in your impression of humor in your arm. I’m betting most grownup men and girls will pass, and I possibly will too. But I’m nevertheless extremely amused. purchase by means of Net-a-Porter for $595.

Fendi Neoprene laptop computer computer Case

We possess a course for add-ons that rarely will get utilized . Apologies for neglecting a completely fitting course for our website. Today, that will alter as I will hold you an accessory to look at and make certain to hold on bringing you artist add-ons inside the future.
The team has Mac guide professional laptops that people do not permit to leave our sides. They are banged up, used, and utilized some even more but I cannot say which they are mistreated. They merely are well-loved. I possess the common mobile computer situation from Incase (Vlad and I each do). It is straightforward and instead boring, but will obtain the job done. I want a thing with even more character and pizazz that is why the Fendi bags   mobile computer situation caught my eye.

Here will most very likely be the deal: for individuals who like Fendi bags  i as well as you adore the coloring pink, then you definitely will such as this case. Also, forgot to add, you need to possess a 13″ laptop. Vlad consists of a 17 inch, I possess a 15 inch, Shannon consists of a 15 inch, and Amanda has a…..? possibly hers is 13″ also it will purpose with this case. Otherwise, this situation is for scaled-down laptops. I need a sizable mobile computer for as a good offer use I get with it collectively with a 13″ display merely will not obtain the job done.
After the size, there will most very likely be the coloring and embossed Fendi logo debacle. Like I pointed out above, for individuals who adore the Fendi logo as well as you adore warm pink, this situation is all kinds of perfect. for individuals who do not, there is not just a good offer else to say about this case. Really, what else is it possible to say about a mobile computer case? I am unsure of how protective of your mobile computer it will most very likely be for individuals who are to reduce it with this artist case. for that price, I would certainly wish it absolutely was as protective, if not more, compared to common conditions a terrific offer of of us buy. purchase by means of Net A Porter for $430.

Red is Good

We love Fendi for it’s so elegant, and we Love mini bags for they’re so cute and matches with almost all styles, and they also feel elegant. So here comes the conclusion: Fendi mini bags are great! Well, let’s check out this new Fendi Mini Leather Shoulder Bag in red.

Sometimes when you’re hitting the town in that perfect LBD, the one thing you need to spice up your look is a sassy purse to provide a pop of color. The Fendi Mini Leather Shoulder Bag in red can give you just that. Compact like a clutch, but with a gorgeous gold chain, the Mini Leather Shoulder bag can safely store your essentials while you’re out. The exterior is 100% leather embossed with the Fendi logo, but this monochrome bag isn’t nearly as in your face as some of the other logo purses on the market. Adding to the sass factor is a tassel on the end of the zipper closure.

Shown in red, but this little gem is also available in classic black. However I’ll definitely go with this hot red one. The price at Saks Fifth Avenue for this beauty is about $595.

Straw & Leather, Summer Adores Fendi

The warmer season is really here now, and our gorgeous leather bags may sometime seem a little too hot for the in coming summer, so are you now busy looking for a new a little cooler bag? Well, I am, and I find this Fendi floral baguette you might want to take a look at. Made of straws and accented with fine leather, this bag totally rocks this summer!

The Fendi Floral Baguette is now available for pre-order and I’m still on the fence. Here, Let me tell you the story. Is this bag boho chic? Or a little too great-aunt’ Mabel’s cross stitch? On the one hand, it has a very hippie, nature’s child, spring-has-sprung vibe (which I love), but on the other, I’m concerned my grandma’s Bunko buddy might be carrying the same bag as me (which will be awkward). The size and shape of this designer purse are both lovely, and the flowers are hand-embroidered, lovely and exquisite, making it seem more like a work of art than your average handbag. The bag is straw with leather accents, which is very light and seasonally appropriate, and if I can just get over my fear of premature aging, I’m sure it’ll be a great addition to my collection!

The bag is actually great, and very suitable for the warmer season, then hand-embroidered details are really cute and adorable, I think this is a really nice bag to have anyway! And the price tag comes along is about $260 at fendi-bags.us.

Peek a Boo, Fendi in Canvas

Speaking of handbags, Fendi is always something we value a lot, and Fendi Peek a Boo is kinda a classic style, every fashion girl should have one Fendi Peek a Boo bag if your wallet allows, anyway, you’ll manage to save the money finally. Well, let’s take a look at this new Fendi Canvas Peek a Boo Handbag, not much to say, elegant as Fendi usually are.

To be honest, when the Fendi Peek a Boo first came out I was a bit uncertain about the design, but it has since grown on me. Originally I didn’t like the fact that when the side flaps are unlocked they droop slightly, giving a ‘peek’ at the inside lining. However, Fendi coordinates the inside lining with the exterior of the bag, so it’s actually a really good look, as time tells us, but personally I still prefer the flaps locked when not retrieving contents in the bag. And this one is a very Hermes Kelly in style.

This Fendi Peek a boo is a cream canvas tote with brown leather trim and gold-tone hardware. The inside lining is light brown suede. Perfect color and material combination for Spring chic.

As for price, some European brands are less expensive if you buy them through a Europe based retailer. This Fendi bag is $1,755 at Mytheresa.com, and $2,220 here in US based stores.

Lastly, this bag is very adorable actually, quite versatile, everyday use, or fancy occasions, you can all take this beauty with you, won’t disappoint you though the price is a little high as usual.

Fendi Bag Roll Back

Heads up girls, Fendi bags are now rolling back with embroidered dresses! We’ve always loved these luxurious Fendi clutch bags, and now here comes these amazing handbags, not so much shinning, but definitely more creativity! And these so called “skin bags” are so made for girls like us who love fancy bags but somehow have’t got many red carpets to walk! So check out!

The new ‘it’ bag for the Fendi handbags of Spring and Summer 2010 is the Skin bag. It’s named so because each leather satchel comes with a fabric covering, or skin, that can come off. Very funny yet gorgeous! We love these little dressed up details and as an addition, you can have two bags at one time, great!

And in case you don’t already know, the Fendi Peek a Boo is Back, and this time with a beautiful tapestry exterior that is sure to be one of their most expensive bags of the season. These little flowers and details, I’ve only got one word for this, Extravagant!!

And as for the rest of the collection, the Firenze bag in supple leather is absolutely gorgeous, and completes the beautiful collection, but it is absolutely made for big shows, not so suitable for daily life.

The one exception of the whole fabulous collection is the plexiglass clutch. First of all, a clear bag is never, ever a good thing. Never. Then the grommet detail stops in the form of a hand, a play on where a clutch should be carried. Not good, but the rest of the collection more than makes up for it.

So, this is the Fendi Spring/Summer 2010 collection, all gorgeous bags, have you decide which one to take? I’ll definitely go with the Skin bag or the Peek a Boo…

The most stylish gold chain Fendi bags with clothing tips

Fendi Flap Bag Gold Chain spring and summer of 2010 back up which is very attractive, but also useful, put bottles of water in summer, parasols and so on up to a lot of small stuff can be installed into. But I think with Fendi  or points to note in order to be more to fashion and beauty:

1.as with the clothes look light and dynamic

The case of large bags, clothing should be brief and dynamic, visually it does not seem cumbersome. In addition, dynamic clothing that people can become more spiritual, to mention another big  Fendi bags and will not give the “difficult” feeling. Imagine a person who appears low in spirits raised a large bag, the weak, without the wind the way will make people doubt that she was not the bag will collapse.

2.The more the better the color of a single bag

Bags on the best not more than three kinds of color, or color of the clothes together, the people took on too much, the visual would be more uncomfortable.

This year’s Fendi bags gold bag and pop elements, simple design makes gold without any shelter, the lure of a summer, even if the body was wearing black and white, with gold or silver on the spring and summer 2010, Fendi  flap bags gold chain bag, you immediately become the focus of fashion and beautiful!

Fendi Baguette

Since Fendi began, in 1925, it was become a sought after name in the fashion world.  Many women dream of owning a Fendi handbag and their most notorious design, the Fendi Baguette, is still one of the most famous and desirable.

The Fendi Baguette handbag is a designer clutch purse, usually with a handle, which has been going strong for over 10 years.  It leapt to fame in the 90’s after Carrie Bradshaw, in Sex and the City, uttered her now infamous line “I’m homeless! I’ll be a bag lady. A Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady!”.  Carrie was seen sporting a purple sequined Fendi Baguette in Season 3, which is then robbed from her in a scene where she is mugged and she cries out in horror “It’s a Baguette!”.

This classic handbag, named after its resemblance to the shape of a French baguette, is meant to be worn tucked under the arm like the loaf and comes in all types of styles, colors and designs.  You can find the Fendi Baguette in different colored leathers, patent, with sequins, intricate bead work and even DIY!  A few years ago Fendi launched the Fendi Artistic Baguette, which comes as a blank white canvas with markers so that you could design your own Fendi masterpiece.

Many of the baguettehandbags have also been customized by celebrities and Asian designers from countries such as China, Japan and Malaysia, which ensures unique and original designs.  Fendi is famous for being exclusive and so does not repeat its designs.  Once a Baguette style runs out it, don’t expect to see it again.

The best way to find the Fendi baguette handbag is at Fendi stores or their website but you will also find this stylish handbag at many top end department stores.  If you cannot afford designer prices but don’t want to miss out on the owning the baguette, try looking for a replica.  There are several trustworthy replica online stores that sell excellent replica baguette bags that look just as good as the real thing.

Ambra Medda’s Latest Craft Punks Hit Fendi

Considering the success of the Craft Punk event, both at last year’s Art Basel Miami Beach and this April’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, it was no surprise to find Design Miami’s Ambra Medda backstage at yesterday’s Fendi’s show. Medda’s innovative brainchild, of course, brings talented young industrial designers together with luxe remnants from Fendi’s factories and a few of the house’s expert artisans and in the process uncorks a torrent of creativity. Today, Medda had in tow Moritz Waldemeyer and Paul Cocksedge, two designers set to appear in the next Craft Punk event at Art Basel this December. “We’re into rock ‘n’ roll technology,” explained Waldemeyer, a techy creative who isn’t a stranger to fashion. He worked on Hussein Chalayan’s mechanical dresses from Spring 2007. Cocksedge, meanwhile, is a rising star in lighting design. So how would their specific skill set mesh with Fendi’s pretty analog form of luxury? “This difference is a challenge,” said Moritz. Added Cocksedge, “We both love the idea of looking into archives and mixing up the old with the new. Ambra brought us here to be sponges, and I have to say, we are really enjoying soaking up the Fendi aesthetic.”

A Walk on the Wild Side

"I seriously doubt that there will be anything of this magnitude or anything this magical for a very long time," said Kate Bosworth, following Fendi's history-making sunset fashion show on the Great Wall of China on Friday night. LVMH chairmanBernard Arnault (who arrived by police escort),Karl LagerfeldSilvia Venturini Fendi, and company chairman and CEO Michael Burke gathered an of-the-moment crowd of 500 for an extravaganza that had been months in the making. Among the suitably impressed: actresses Ziyi Zhang and Thandie Newton, Miss Universe Riyo Mori of Japan, gallerist Pearl Lam, artist Terence Koh, A Bathing Ape's Nigo, and a planeload of New York socials, including Fabiola BeracasaZani GugelmannAmanda HearstTinsley MortimerJulia Restoin-Roitfeld, and Bettina Zilkha.

Those not warmed by a Fendi fur clutched tightly to hand warmers encased in logo fabric while sitting on the edge of their heated seats and hoping that none of the models would tumble down the steep runway in their high heels. "Last night I wore the shoes the models are wearing on the runway," said Bosworth. "They're phenomenal, but they're not easy to walk in." The mannequins managed to stay upright, as did the guests, most of whom ignored the suggestion to bring flats and climbed up and down the wall in spiky stilettos with the much-needed assistance of the railing or an usher.

The show, which opened with a vibrant red dress and closed 88 looks later with Chinese top model Du Juan styled as an empress in a black cheongsam gown, included an entire mini-collection created specifically for the occasion, as well as select looks from the Spring 2008 line shown in Milan less than a month ago. "Beforehand, part of me was thinking, how can you justify using the Great Wall of China in this way?" admitted Newton, in a yellow Fendi gown. "Seeing the show up there tonight—that is how you can justify it. You could see all of Karl's inspiration in the way he designed the clothes—the beautiful spheres, the belt that was reminiscent of the actual construction of the wall. It was all there, so I felt like it was Fendi's gift back to China." Indeed. The entire production was said to have cost around $10 million, a huge sum for a fashion show, and a clear indication of Fendi's belief in its future in the country.

Following the runway presentation, chilly guests were served hot chocolate or brandy to thaw them out before they were bussed to the Village at SanLiTun, an unfinished mega-mall in Beijing, for an alfresco dinner. For entertainment, there was a laser graffiti artist and dancers—some of whom were suspended from ropes so it looked like they were performing on the face of a replica of Fendi's Roman flagship. Lagerfeld made an entrance in a sequined blazer—sans gloves. After dinner, some attendees retreated to the warmer bars for drinks while the model contingent, a few still with their hair extensions, hit the dance floor. How to sum up the extravaganza? Bosworth's beau, James Rousseau, had one word: "majestic."

fendi resort 2008

Short and sweet—that's Karl Lagerfeld's message for Fendi resort. Working in shades of brown, white, and black with jolts of electric hues, he did hip-skimming cover-ups, the briefest of shorts, and swingy trapeze dresses, many decorated with little extras like fluttery flounces or eye-catching pleats (courtesy of the house's innovative, high-tech ateliers). Of course, leather and accessories are what the girls love Fendi for, so there was no shortage of outerwear—a snug jacket with a kicky peplum was a stand-out. (Cuffed leather shorts, on the other hand, looked less convincing.) And there was a bag, or two, for every look. The strongest? A group in multicolor patent leather laser-cut for an effect that might be described as Mondrian crossed with a computer chip.

fendi fall 2010

To describe Fendi as verging on reserved and sober when there was a white lynx coat right there in the middle might seem fashion-delusional, but even the Roman home of superdeluxe furs has indeed caught the season's mood of restraint. In this winter, when all leading designers are concerned with calming and reshaping the silhouette, Karl Lagerfeld seemed less interested in showcasing the furriers' storied technical fireworks than pulling back to work on swing coats; soft, billowy blouses; mid-calf dirndls; and a slightly countrified, muted palette of gray, navy, beige, and mustard. Even the footwear was a play on the sensible and utilitarian. Not teetering statement platforms but high-heeled booties detailed with ribbed rubber toe caps and top lacing akin to Wellingtons or the muckers that horsey girls wear in the stable yard.

It's all relative, of course. Backstage, and close up on the racks, there was more state-of-the-art fur expertise in evidence beyond the patchworked coats and vests (and that exceptional lynx) visible on the runway. The passage in what could pass as camel hair was actually shaved beige fur. The velvety nap of the eveningwear was constructed from ribbon strips of organza and fur, too. Still, from the point of view of the current drive toward chic practicality, it was the least showy coats—the simple, narrow, collarless suede cardigans with shearling on the inside—that could turn out to have the greatest fashion appeal in reality. Which is what it's all about now.
